During the lively summer vacation, various exciting exhibitions are in full swing. Weekends are especially crowded, with long lines forming at events, particularly those aimed at families. Parents eagerly bring their children to exhibitions that combine education with entertainment. For adults, immersive exhibitions emphasize artistic and visual impact. From art and culture exhibitions to science fairs, projection mapping is everywhere, creating immersive experiences and fulfilling people's desire for interaction with the exhibits.

"If an artwork changes due to the presence or actions of the viewer, then the boundary between the artwork and the viewer becomes blurred, and the viewer themselves become part of the artwork."

Enjoyed by both adults and children, co-create art through projection mapping walls.

Originating in Japan and later captivating audiences worldwide, teamLab utilizes digital technology to create immersive exhibition experiences through light, shadows, and sound effects. By employing projectors and interactive technology, teamLab allows viewers to step into the artwork, feel it, and even influence it. In an interview with the UK magazine WIRED, teamLab's founder, Toshiyuki Inoko, stated, "The idea of immersive art stems from the difference in perspective between Japanese and Western art. In traditional Japanese painting, the construction of space is free, allowing viewers to choose their own perspectives." This concept inspired teamLab's audience-centric approach to creation. By eliminating the boundaries between exhibits and viewers, they also dissolve the boundaries between art and experience. "If an artwork changes due to the presence or actions of the viewer, then the boundary between the artwork and the viewer becomes blurred, and the viewer themselves become part of the artwork."

Immersive digital art exhibitions push the boundaries of art to new heights. Currently on display at the National Taiwan Science Education Center, "teamLab Future Park" marks teamLab's third exhibition in Taiwan. However, the visuals in the exhibit are generated in real-time by computer programs, making every scene fleeting and never to be repeated. This concept, known as "Ichigo Ichie" (a once-in-a-lifetime encounter), is a key reason why many visitors return to teamLab exhibitions multiple times. Through projection mapping, the artwork continuously changes in response to viewer interaction, allowing visitors to co-create unique new pieces. Whether adults or children, everyone can craft their own personalized viewing experience and exclusive memories.

By enabling collaborative actions, audiences can truly connect with the exhibits, enhancing their engagement and involvement.

Mapping projection exhibitions integrated into lifestyle.

Mapping projection has taken art to a new level. Audiences are no longer passive observers; through collaborative actions, they can truly connect with the exhibits, increasing their engagement and involvement, and stepping into the world that the creators wish them to see.

Although mapping projection is presented on a flat surface, it can create a three-dimensional immersive scene that reconstructs and translates the knowledge or concepts intended by the exhibitor into a fully sensory experience. In the context of art, it allows viewers to explore the inner world of the artist, while for products, it facilitates a connection between the audience and the brand. Through interaction with mapping projection, audiences co-create a unique experience with the exhibitor, opening up more possibilities for the presentation content.
